Why is this job opening so interesting?
As an Assistant Accountant International, you play a crucial role for International companies and their ambitions in the Netherlands and Europe.
With us it’s not just about numbers, but about creating impact in an international context. Among other things, you will be involved in the (annual) numbers, but also play a key role in the story we tell to our clients who have questions.
You will be challenged by intriguing international consulting issues that our clients with parent companies across Europe and far beyond face. For example, you’ll help them prepare the company’s financial statements in English, do accounting, monthly reporting to foreign parent companies, and assist clients with their obligations in the Netherlands.
Our clients often have to deal with complex tax issues. Think about international tax treaties, reporting standards and laws and regulations. Something the client is not aware of. You are the client’s eyes and ears, and where necessary you call in colleagues and experts to answer their questions. As the direct point of contact for our clients, you actively maintain contact, occasionally visit the client (at home and abroad) and build meaningful relationships. The team
You will work in the composition and advisory practice at our location in Amsterdam. Together with an expanding team, you will be there for our international clients who want to enter the Dutch market and national companies with international activities.

Who are you?
As an Assistant Accountant, you allow your analytical and numerical acumen to flourish. You are driven to delve into everything. Accuracy is second nature to you and you are not afraid to take responsibility. At the same time, you understand the importance of cooperation and do not hesitate to ask for help from your colleagues. In this role, you effortlessly embrace various languages, including powerful English, while confidently tackling questions and discovering new software packages.
Your communication skills shine not only in the numbers world, but also when interacting with clients and colleagues. Showing initiative is in your DNA and you thrive both independently and as part of a team.

In addition, we ask:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
- Experience in compiling or preparing financial statements;
- A good command of Dutch and English (other languages are a plus);
- Knowledge of international standards is an advantage.
