The Hooge Waerder is an all-round service provider. We have been around for more than 40 years. At our locations in Amsterdam, Alkmaar, Beverwijk, Haarlem and Heerhugowaard, we have about 190 colleagues. At all locations we have a large and varied client portfolio. Mainly SMEs but also large enterprises and international companies belong to our clientele.

Position
Why is this job opening so interesting?
As Staff Audit International you will contribute to the execution of audits and other assurance assignments in the international context. You will work as part of a team and regularly work at the client’s location. Communication with colleagues and client is frequently in English and it is possible that you will visit the client abroad.
As a team, you are responsible for planning and meeting deadlines. In addition, you advise business processes at the client and assess risks. During this process you regularly liaise with the client, the manager and/or accountant. Due to the diverse client base, you serve clients from different industries and of different company sizes.
The team
You will work at one of our offices in Alkmaar or Amsterdam (international), where you will form a close-knit team with 25 colleagues. The culture is informal, and you will have direct contact with the partners. In addition to your colleagues in the Netherlands, you will also work with colleagues stationed abroad.

Job Requirements
Who are you?
As a Staff Audit International, you are the critical thinker who delves into the dynamic world of international financial controls and audits. You analyze business processes, audit financial statements and ensure compliance with laws and regulations, both nationally and internationally. As part of a team with different nationalities, you will support risk analysis and the execution of audits. It is a role in which you will have a lot of contact with the client and will be given room to develop quickly.
Your communication skills shine not only in the world of numbers, but also in interaction with clients and colleagues. Showing initiative is in your DNA and you thrive both independently and in team.

In addition, we ask:
- At least a Bachelor’s degree , preferably in business administration or economics;
- Good command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing.
